Wilma Robertson

Wilma Ruth Robertson, 97 of Parsons, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Society in Parsons, Kansas.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Neodesha Church of the Nazarene. Pastor Darrell Bisel will be officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 8, 2013 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at the Neodesha Church of the Nazarene. Burial will be at High Prairie Cemetery in Altoona, Kansas The family has suggested memorials be made to Harry Hynes Hospice in Parsons or to the Church of the Nazarene in Neodesha, Kansas. Funeral Services are under the direction of Loran Fawcett Chapel. Memorials may be left with the funeral home.

Wilma was born on December 31, 1915 in rural Benedict, Kansas to Ralph and Elizabeth Brown Vining. She graduated from high school in Benedict, Kansas in 1933.

On April 4,1935 she married William Bill O. Robertson in Buffalo, Kansas. He preceded her in death in April, 1999. She spent her life being a homemaker and hostess to many people especially pastors and evangelists. Bill Wilma attended the Church of the Nazarene wherever they lived. Over the years Wilma worked in the church in various ways such as serving on committees, the church board, taught S.S. classes and as church treasurer.

Wilma is survived by many nieces nephews.

In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her brothers and parents.
