William Poeverlein Iii

William (Bill) Henry Poeverlein III, passed away Tuesday May 3Rd, 2016 at Via Christi St Francis Hospital in Wichita KS.
A celebration of life service will be 10:00 am Monday May 9th 2016 at the Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha KS. A visitation will take place Sunday May 8th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with family receiving friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
William (Bill) Henry Poeverlein III was born January 22nd 1951 in Lawrence Ks, the son of William Henry II and Gwendolyn (Gray) Poeverlein.
William joined the United States Army on September 5th 1969 and received an Honorable Discharge on April 28th, 1971. William also served in the Army Reserves.
William was united in marriage to Roseanna (Looney) on August 5th 1973 in Dodge City, KS and their home was in Kinsley, KS before moving to Thayer, KS in 2006 where they have lived the last ten years.
Bill loved to ride his Harley Motor Cycle and loved to watch the old western movies. He also loved the time he spent serving his Country in the United States Army, but most of all he loved spending time with his loving family, around him all the time.
William is survived by his wife Roesanna of the home, one son; L Earnie Poeverlein of Altoona, KS and one daughter; Jessica Ann Swink of Thayer, KS. Four Brothers; David Poeverlein of Melvern, KS, Rodger Poeverlein of Lawrence, KS, and Victor and Kenny Poeverlein and three sisters Judith Phelps of Lawrence, KS, Charlene Sharon and Sandy Poeverlein and three Granchildren; Sharie Poeverlein, Xavier Poeverlein and Lane Poeverlein.
William is proceeded in death by his parent's two sons Christopher Lee and Matthew Wyatt Poeverlein and one brother Edwin Poeverlein and one sister Gail Marie Poeverlein.
