Wendy Ann Joy, age 37, of Neodesha, Kansas died Sunday, November 11, 2012 at the Wilson Medical Center in Neodesha, Kansas.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha, Kansas with Pastor Jim Logan of the Grace Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Altoona Cemetery under the direction of the Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha, Kansas.

Visitation hours will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 16, 2012 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha, Kansas. Friends may leave online condolences at www.loranfawcettchapel.com

Wendy Ann Joy was born October 13, 1975 in Spokane, Washington to Gary Wayne and Peggy Jean Smith Hoard. Wendy grew up in Spokane, Washington and attended school in Spokane. Wendy worked in Home Health Care.

On June 12, 2010 Wendy married Barry Joy in Buffalo, Kansas. Wendy received her High School Diploma in 2010 thru Pen Foster.

Survivors include her husband Barry of the home father Gary Hoard of Fredonia, Kansas one sister Wanda Fink of Neodesha, Kansas two brothers David Hoard of Buffalo, Kansas and Jason Hoard of Fredonia, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her mother Peggy Jean Smith
