Wendell Kimberlin

Wendell O. "Windy" Kimberlin, 70, of Altoona died March 3, 2015 at Via Christi Hospital-St. Francis in Wichita, Kansas.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 2pm at the Harrison Cemetery, 850 Wichita Road, Altoona, Kansas. The family will receive friends from 11am to 1pm at the Loran Fawcett Chapel.
Memorials are suggested to the Eagles Aerie, 3348 Neodesha and may be left at the funeral home.
Wendell was born January 20, 1945 in Harrisonville, Missouri to Loren and Helen (Yeates) Kimberlin. He grew up and attended school in Dayton, Missouri. He married Sheila Purkey on October 2, 1964 and they later divorced.
He married Debra Turley on September 24, 1977 at Thayer, Kansas and she preceded him in death in 2004.
Wendell was a self-employed Logger.
He is survived by two sons, Mike Kimberlin of Garden City, Missouri and Travis Kimberlin and wife Starlet of Altoona, Kansas, one daughter, Kimberly K. Hill and husband Randy of Johnston City, Illinois, four sisters; Janice Kimberlin of Bronson, Kansas, Francine Bryant of Longton, Kansas, Josephine Eccles of Gridley, Kansas, and Cathy Gibson of Narca, Missouri, Four grandchildren; Spencer Kimberlin, Hailey Kimberlin, Jessica Davis and Jennifer Davis.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Virgil Kimberlin, a sister, Loraine Fletcher and an infant brother.
