Thelma P. Perry Thelma Pauline Perry of Oceanside, California, died Friday, October 8, 2004, in Oceanside. She was 93. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2004, in Neodesha Cemetery under the direction of Penwell Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel. Her deceased husband, Ralph Perry, will be reinterred at that time. The daughter of Henry J. and Ida Kulp Hibler, she was born January 22, 1911, in Longford, KS. She moved with her family to Neodesha at an early age. She graduated from Neodesha High School and attended business school in Wichita, KS. On June 22, 1935, she married Ralph Perry in Chanute, KS. Mr. Perry served in the Army Air Force during WWII. After the war, the Perrys lived in Long Beach, CA, where Mr. Perry worked as an inspector in the nearby shipyards. She worked as a secretary while they lived in California. In her later years, she was a homemaker. Mr. Perry preceded her in death on Feb. 8, 1989. She was a member of the San Luis Rey Valley United Methodist Church in Oceanside, California. She is survived by four nieces, Glenna Nightingale, of Tulsa, OK, Dorothy Parsons of Fort Worth, TX, Jeanne Sinclair of Neodesha, and Patti Payne of New Braunfels, TX; three nephews, Gerald L. Graham of Bartlesville, OK, Wendell H. Adell of Clermont, FL, and Bill Arnold of Boerne, TX. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters Mrs. A.B. Ella Johnson, Mrs. Otis C. Alta Graham, Mrs. Paul Myrtle Adell, and Mrs. Cecil Mildred Arnold. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and may be left at the funeral home.
