Sharon Sue Pratt, 73, of Neodesha passed away Friday May 1, 2020 at Wilson Medical Center. Cremation has taken place at Loran Fawcett Chapel. Services will take place at a later date.
Sharon Sue Pratt was born July 27, 1946 the daughter of Fred and Geneva (Haines) Louia in Sedgwick County, KS. The family moved to Altoona, KS area. Sharon graduated from Neodesha High School in 1964. Sharon married Arthur Pratt in 1964 at the Altoona Christian Church, later the two divorced.
Sharon had various occupations and loved to work. Some of her favorite jobs included the Prairie Nut Hut and getting to chat with customers at G & W foods. Some of her past times included getting to see her family, playing bingo, and was an avid casino enthusiast.
Sharon is survived by three children: Larry Pratt and wife Brenda of Maquoketa, IA; two daughters Linda Dannels of Independence, KS, and Tami Pratt of Neodesha, KS; two sisters Kathy Louia of Burlington, KS, and Joyce Ayers and husband Mike of Altoona, KS; 5 grandchildren, Tara Crowell and husband Dave of Altoona, KS, Troy Dannels and partner Mike Grimes of Independence, KS, Kody Pratt, Adam Vosatka, and Ben Vosatka all of Maquoketa, IA, and 3 great grandchildren Caden, Connor and Cason Berger of Neodesha, KS.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Geneva Louia; 2 brothers, Darrell Louia and Jimmy Dean Louia; and 1 granddaughter, Allissa Pratt. Through Sharon’s life she never met a stranger and always had a story to tell.
