Ryan Toomey

Ryan Craig Toomey, age 70, of Neodesha, passed on April 18, 2023 at Wilson County Medical Center.

He was born on May 10, 1952 to Raymond Dale and Anna Louise (Pendleton) Toomey in Neodesha. He was the oldest of three children followed by Rex Toomey and Melissa (Toomey) Moore.

He married Debbie (Reed) Toomey in September 1972 and they have two children, Misty and Cassie.

Ryan loved his family and his community. He worked as a self-employed carpenter, with his dear friend Rod Miller, for many years. If he didn’t build your house he probably worked on it at some point. He had the kindest heart and was always willing to lend a hand to his friends and neighbors.

His most beloved pastime was spending time with his granddaughters, Aleese and Sophie.

Ryan is survived by wife Debbie Toomey; daughters Misty (Toomey) Eytcheson of Gardner, KS, and Cassie Toomey of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren Aleese and Sophie Gascich of Gardner, KS.

He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father.

He requested no visitation or funeral services and we are abiding by his wishes.
