Mrs. Carol Cohee, 72, of Neodesha, died Thursday, May 13, 2010, at the Wilson Medical Center Reece Campus in Neodesha. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 20, 2010, at the Elk City Christian Church with the Reverend Jim Wilburn, pastor, and the Reverend Steve Butler of the Community Christian Church of Independence. officiating. Private inurnment will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Elk City. Friends may call to register at service time. Services are under the direction of the PenwellGabel Loran Fawcett Chapel of Neodesha. The family has suggested memorial remembrances to A.W.O.L Animals with our Love and remembrances will be received at the funeral home. Romita Carol Cohee was born February 13, 1938 at Elk City, Kansas, the daughter of Lyle Bruce and Aline Stong Bruce. She attended Elk City schools, graduating from Elk City High School in 1956. She was a member of the Elk City Christian Church On May 24, 1956 she was united in marriage to Bruce L. Bradley. The couple opened and operated the Phillips 66 station and caf until Mr. Bradley death in October of 1981. She was well known as a cook and pie maker. On May 8, 1993 at Neodesha, Kansas, she was united in marriage to Tony Cohee and he survives at the home Additional survivors include: a son, Bruce W. Bradley and wife Cheryl of Wichita a stepson, Jeff Cohee and wife Lori of Paola, Kansas two grandchildren, Kohde Lyle Bradley and Caden William Cohee. a brother, Tommy R. Bruce of Elk City, Kansas 3 sisters, Lyla Jean Berry of Elk City, Kansas Mary Alberta Kroeker of Junction City, Oregon and Violet R. Brownrigg of Welda, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Bradley, father Lyle Bruce and mother Aline Stong Bruce.
