Roger Myers

Roger W. Myers Roger Wayne Myers of Neodesha, KS, died Monday, March 02, 2009, at his residence. He was 55. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, March 09, 2009, at the Grace Baptist Church. Pastor Jim Logan will officiate. Inurnment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery at a later date. The son of Eldon D. and Josephine Dorthy Arnold, he was born May 27, 1953, in Independence, KS. He received his education in Independence. He was united in marriage to Elsie Bertie in Independence, KS. They were later
orced and she survives in Independence, KS. Mr. Myers was a self-employed contractor. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church and was a loving father and friend. Survivors include his partner, Diana Mitchell of the home; one son, Jimmy Myers and his wife LaDawn of Edna, KS; one daughter, Mallory Myers and her fianc Dustin Hirrlinger of Cherryvale, KS; one brother, Pastor Eldon Myers his wife Susan of Fredonia, KS; three grandchildren, Christopher, Candace Myers and Halle Hirrlinger. He is preceded in death by his parents. Memorial contributions may be made to the Friendship Inn in Kansas City, KS, and may be left at the funeral home.
