Robert H. Plant Robert Henry Plant of Neodesha, Kansas, died Wednesday, February 1, 2006, at Beverly Health and Rehab in Neodesha. He was 67. His body has been donated to science and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. Local arrangements were handled by Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel of Neodesha. The son of Joseph Enoch and Marie Elizabeth Lafreniere Plant Sr., he was born March 16, 1938, in Bay City, TX. He joined the US Air Force in 1956, serving as an Airman Third Class until 1960. He was a farmer and rancher in Texas and also was a truck driver for 27 years. He loved to fish and train horses. Later in life, he was a participant in various Cancer research projects. Survivors include four sons, Robert H. Plant Jr. of Flatonia, TX, Glenn A. Plant of Sweeny, TX, David W. Plant of Victoria, TX, and Jerry H. Schaefer of Stockton, KS; two daughters, Deborah L. Moore of Neodesha, KS, and Teresa L. Bueno of Bay City, TX; two step-daughters, Donna K. Aiken of Bastrop, TX, and Susan G. Kutac of Flatonia, TX; two sisters, Letha Nowak of Guy, TX, and Fannie Sisson of Sweeny, TX; 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Rosie Pruett and Ruby OBrien; two brothers, George Lee and Joseph Enoch Jr. Memorial contributions may be made to Beverly Health and Rehab of Neodesha and may be left at the funeral home.
