Priscilla D. Irvine, 87, of Neodesha passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at the Golden Living center in Neodesha. Cremation will take place and no services are planned. Memorials are suggested to the WA Rankin Library and may be left with the Loran Fawcett Chapel.
Priscilla was born July 3, 1927 in Altoona, Kansas to Marvin and Jessie "Blackburn" Lewellan. She graduated from Neodesha High School in 1945 and had an 8 hour class to teach school. She taught at the Center Country School for two years. She worked as a nurse aid for Dr. Stevenson in Neodesha for several years. She then worked for the Self Service Grocery Store for John and Norma Moore for several years.
She married George Irvine on March 3, 1971 in Miami, Oklahoma. They lived in Wichita for ten years. After George retired they returned to Neodesha and she worked for the WA Rankin Library for several years. George preceded her in death, in 2014.
She was a member for the First United Methodist Church in Neodesha and was a life member of the VFW Auxiliary. She is survived by one brother, Max Lewellen of Altoona, KS. brother and sister in law, Jim and Jeanne Irvine of Neodesha, KS.
In addition to her parents, Priscilla was proceeded in death by an infant brother and a sister, Patricia Raby.
