PENNY M. LOGAN Penny M. Logan, 56, of Neodesha, Kansas passed away at the Wilson County Hospital, Neodesha, Kansas on Wednesday, November 09, 2005. Penny was born April 06, 1949 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to George and Eleanor Vance. Her father was in the military and construction. The family moved frequently while she was growing up. She graduated from Enraham High School in Seattle, Washington in 1967 . She attended Independence Community College. She received her CNA certificate in 1992 and her CMA certificate in 1998. Penny came to Neodesha in 1993, coming from Crawford, Nebraska. She worked at various nursing homes in the area, working at Golden Keys, Beverly Health and Rehab, and most recently at Gran Villas in Neodesha and the Sanctuary in Fredonia. Penny is survived by three sons, Terry Bell II, Bradley Bell and his wife, Tonya, and Adam Bowey all of Neodesha, Kansas; one daughter, Melissa Johnson and her companion, Jason of Neodesha, Kansas; two brothers, William Vance of Lynwood, Washington and George Vance, Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada; two sisters, Pam Goodman of Cookville, Tennessee and Pat Brenner of Cheyenne, Wyoming; five grandchildren, Tristen, Brenden, Achlee, Bryce and Gaye. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel of Neodesha. Her register book will be available for family and friends to sign at the Chapel on Friday, November 11, 2005 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Memorial services for Penny M. Logan will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 12, 2005 at the Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel with Reverend Jim York, Pastor of the Eastgate Chapel, Neodesha, Kansas officiating.
