Patti R. Stout, 70, of Neodesha, passed away Monday morning, December 1, 2014 at her home. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 6, at Christ Church in Neodesha, Kansas. Memorial donations are suggested to be given to AWOL in Independence, Kansas, because Patti loved animals, especially those that were homeless.
Patti was born September 8, 1944, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the daughter of Harry and Leta Robinson Wilson. She moved with her family to Neodesha, Kansas when she was a teenager and graduated from Neodesha High School in 1962. She then attended ICC in Independence, Kansas.
Patti married Winfred Leon Stout November 21, 1971, at the Methodist Church in Neodesha and then made their home in Neodesha, Kansas.
Patti worked at Stevie Togs, S.E. Manufacturing Co. and IMCO where she made lifelong friends. She was a switchboard operator and clerical worker at Mercy Hospital in Independence, Kansas and retired from there.
Patti is survived by her husband, Leon Stout of the home, two sisters, Peggy Cheshier and Janie Brockway and their husbands, four sons and one daughter and their spouses, ten grandchildren, and one great grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Patti was preceded in death by her parents.
