Patricia Ann Pat Studebaker, 70, of Neodesha, died Friday, August 30th at the Golden Living Center in Neodesha.
Cremation has taken place at her request. A memorial service will be held at the Christ Church in Neodesha on Monday, Sept. 9th at 2:00 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Christ Church in Neodesha. A private burial will take place at a later date.
Pat was born December 11, 1942 in Neodesha to Amos T. and Thelma Cather Nichols. She grew up in Neodesha and graduated from Neodesha High School in 1961. She married James Barnhart, Sr. and they later divorced, she later married Wayne Studebaker and they divorced.
She worked at the Golden Keys Nursing Home in Neodesha for 24 years. After it closed she worked at Vintage Park Assisted Living until her health failed.
Survivors include one son, David Barnhart, Pittsburg, KS, one daughter Katherin Barks and her husband John of Tyro, KS. daughter in law, Valerie Barnhart of Liberal, MO. Sister, Estella Lister of Independence, KS ,one brother, Jerry Nichols of Larned, KS. Grandchildren: Jacob Barnhart, Bradley Barnhart and fiance Kinny Smith, Mindy Barks, Brittany Barnhart, Holly Barks, Ashlynn Barnhart.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sons: James Barnhart, Jr. and Amos Barnhart. Sister, Elda Rae Nichols and brother in law, Norman Lister.
