Patricia Barrett

Patricia "Patti" Jean Barrett, 62, Neodesha, Kansas passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. Funeral Services for Patti will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Loran Fawcett Chapel with Reverend Dallas Martin Officiating. Burial will follow in Neodesha City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the chapel. Memorials may be made to Southern Baptist Church and may be left with the chapel.
Patti was born May 8, 1954 in Seward, Nebraska to Robert L. and Deloyce J. (Watson) Gulbrandson. She attended Seward Schools and later moved to Ft. Hood, Texas. Patti later relocated to Neodesha, Kansas where she married Jerry Barrett on May 8, 2010 in Neodesha, Kansas. Patti is a 10 year member of Neodesha Southern Baptist Church. Patti enjoyed growing flowers and drawing and was employed by Wal-Mart until her health forced her to retire.
Patti was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Jerry, of the home; two sons, Shane Bigley, Fredonia, Kansas, Brandon Bigley, Cherryvale, Kansas; three brothers, Tim (Jody) Brose, Seward, Nebraska, Allen (Christine) Brose, Seward, Nebraska, Bob Brose, Seward, Nebraska; and five grandchildren.
