Orville C. Fouch Orville C. Pug Fouch of Chanute, Kansas, formerly of Neodesha, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita, KS. He was 75. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, in the Neodesha Cemetery under the direction of Penwell Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel of Neodesha. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, in the First Church of God in Chanute. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m.-12 noon on Thursday. The son of Chester O. and Gladys Persinger Fouch, he was born Aug. 27, 1929, in Bisbee, Arizona. He grew up in Longton, Kansas, where he attended school. On May 17, 1952, he married Glenna Deloris Dee Hinrichs in Independence, KS. She survives at the home. Before retiring in 1992, he was employed for 23 years by the City of Chanute in the street department. Prior to that, he had been employed by the Bailey Oil Company of Neodesha. He was a member of the First Church of God and enjoyed his daily coffee breaks at various cafes in Chanute. He also enjoyed fishing and caring for his English walnut tree and raising red poppies. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter Dorothy Elaine Fouch. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Neil, Lloyd, Raymond, Richard and William; and two sisters, Nora and Norma. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of God Building Fund, 9th and South Forrest in Chanute or may be left at the funeral home.
