Norma Clarice Moore, 92, died March 18, 2013 at the Golden Living Center in Neodesha, Kansas.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the Neodesha City Cemetery with the Reverend Gerald Eytcheson of the Episcopal Church of the Ascension officiating under the direction of the Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha, Kansas.
Visitation hours will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2013 at the Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha, Kansas.
The family has suggested memorials to the American Cancer Society or the Golden Living Center and contributions may be left at the Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha, Kansas.
Mrs. Moore was born October 11, 1920 at Quenemo, Kansas to Herbert Myron Erbar and Cecil Fay Cole Erbar. She received her education in the Ottawa, Kansas school system and graduated from Ottawa High School.
On December 31, 1939, she married John C. Moore at Fredonia, Kansas. He preceded her in death May 1, 1986. The Moores spent most of their adult life in the Neodesha area. They were partners in the retail grocery business for 31 years retiring in 1981. Norma was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Ascension in Neodesha, Kansas.
In addition to her husband Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Rexine Prothero. She is survived by a brotherinlaw Raymond Dale Toomey and his wife Ann of Neodesha and several nieces and nephews.
