Milton I. Ford Milton I. Ford of Fredonia, KS, formerly of Neodesha, KS, died Tuesday, January 15, 2008, at his home. He was 59. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2008, at the Neodesha Cemetery under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel. Friends may call to register at the funeral home Friday and Monday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. until noon. The son of George and Muzetta Sawyer Ford, he was born December 27, 1948, in Gallup, NM. He graduated from Neodesha High School and later graduated from embalming school in Kansas City, MO. Mr. Ford was a licensed embalmer and funeral director and worked for a number of funeral homes before becoming disabled several years ago. He was married and later
orced eight times. Mr. Ford served with the United States Navy as a corpsman during the Vietnam Conflict and received an honorable discharge. He was a life member of VFW Post 5962. Survivors include five children, Jamie Ford and Monica Ford, both of Parsons, KS, Tracy McLendon of Leavenworth, KS, Tabatha Carnall of Cherryvale, KS, and Kiley Ford of Oxford, KS; one brother, Michael Ford of Jessup, MD; and three grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents. Memorial contributions may be made to the donors choice and may be left at the funeral home.
