Michele Dixon Michele Dixon of Neodesha, KS, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She was 42. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at the United Methodist Church. A private committal service will be held later in Grandview Cemetery. The daughter of Shelby and Janice Snavely Howard, she was born November 16, 1966, in Great Bend, Kansas. She attended school in Neodesha before moving to Garden City, KS, where she graduated from high school in 1985. She married Michael Dotterer and was later
orced. She married Robert Dixon and they were later
orced. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Neodesha. Michele is survived by her parents, Shelby and Janice Howard of Sparta, MO; her birth mother, Sondra Howe and her husband Douglas of Arkansas City, KS; two daughters, Noel Shinkle of Neodesha and Ashton Dotterer of Haskell, OK; one brother, Scott Howard of Mannford, OK; two sisters, Bartricia Renee Allison of Topeka, KS, and Laticia Chantele Allison of Tacoma, WA; and two grandchildren, Kieran and Kody Foster. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, 1120 Pennsylvania, Kansas City, MO 64105, and may be left at the funeral home.
