Merle Reece

Merle M. Reece, 78, of Overland Park, KS passed away on April 7th, 2019.
Graveside services for Merle will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2019 at Thayer City Cemetery in Thayer Kansas.
He was born September 17th, 1940 in Wilson county, the 4th of 7 children of Jack and Della Reece. "M.M." was a conductor with the Sante Fe Railroad for 33 years. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Karen, children John (Veronica), Julie (Frank), Kristin (Dan) and beloved grandchildren Haylee, Carson, Aidan, Ava and Taryn. He is preceded in death by his siblings Betty Huffman, Faye Robertson, Joyce Reece and Dale Reece. Graveside service were at 2pm Friday April 12th at the Thayer Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Thayer Museum.
