Mary M. Mast Mary Marjorie Mast of Neodesha, KS, died Saturday, January 12, 2008, at the Wilson County Hospital. She was 98. Graveside services will be performed at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Perkins, Oklahoma, under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel of Neodesha. Charles Wall will officiate. The daughter of Charles Edward and Mary Drucilla Morris Lowry, she was born September 3, 1909, in Oxford, KS. She attended school in Oxford and graduated from Oxford High School in 1928. She was united in marriage to Lester Casius Mast on June 2, 1928, in Oxford, KS, where they resided until 1943. To this union was born three children, Charles Wayne, Neila Nannette, and Gary Corbin. The couple later lived in Coyle, OK, and Comanche, OK, before moving to Perkins, OK, after Mr. Masts retirement in 1961. Mr. Mast pre-ceded Mary in death in 1992. She has been a resident of Neodesha for the past three years. Mary was a homemaker and also sold Fuller Brush Products in the Stillwater area for a few years. She enjoyed playing the piano for the Easter Star, knitting afghans for her friends and crocheting. She was member of the First Baptist church of Perkins and was a member of the Or-der of the Easter Star in Perkins for over 50 years. Survivors include a son, Gary Mast and his wife Lynda of Broken Arrow, OK; a daughter, Neila Pearce and her husband Robert of Neodesha; a sister, Marcille Stansberry of Liberal, KS; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Charles and his wife Gwen; and one granddaughter, Nicole Jeffers.
