Lucille Foster Alda Lucille Foster of Neodesha, KS, died Saturday, May 16, 2009, at her home. She was 58. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at Neodesha Cemetery under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel. Rev. Dave Cheshier will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at the funeral home. The daughter of Albert and Eula Glasgow Smith Johnson, she was born November 28, 1950, in Neodesha, KS. She received her education in Neodesha. On May 3, 1991, she was united in marriage to Kendall Shorty Foster in Miami, OK. He survives at the home. She had received her CNA license and had formerly been employed at Beverly Health Care. Mrs. Foster was a Life member of VFW Post 1186 in Independence, a Past President of VFW Post 5962 Ladys Auxiliary, a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary of Neodesha and the Past Junior and Senior Vice-president of the Third District VFW Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Charles Smith of Whitewater, WI, and Robert Smith of Neodesha; two brothers, John Glasgow of Neodesha and Jack Glasgow of Fredonia; and three grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Rhonda; one brother, Albert; and two sisters, Mary Johnson and Helen Glasgow. Memorial contributions may be made to the donors choice.
