Louise Miller, age 90, of Neodesha, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Wilson Medical Center, Neodesha. Mrs. Miller was born December 31, 1920 at Fall River, Kansas, the daughter of Charles Gardner and Myrtle Miller Gardner. She attended Altoona Schools and graduated from Altoona High School in 1938. Mrs. Miller had been employed both as a cook and a waitress but enjoyed being a homemaker. On May 7, 1946 she was united in marriage to Marvin Miller in Sedan, KS. Mr. Miller preceded his wife in death on February 14, 2005. Mrs. Miller is survived by her children: Donald Miller of Neodesha, RobertMelinda Miller of Independence, KS, J.D Lisa Miller of Overland Park, KS and DonnaDon Jones of Neodesha. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandsons as well as a sisterinlaw, Carol Gardner of Terrell, TX, a niece, Carolyn Fox of Terrell, TX, a nephew, David Gardner of Naples, FL along with many other nieces amp nephews. Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Virginia Miller and 2 brothers, William Gardner and Clifford Gardner. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 10:30 a.m.at Neodesha City Cemetery with Pastor Kenny Richards officiating. Mrs. Miller will lie in state Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Loran Fawcett Chapel with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The family suggests memorial remembrances to the Wilson Medical Center Foundation and they may be left at the funeral home.
