Loren Eugene Hall Jr. 63 of Buffalo, KS. passed away suddenly Saturday, April 13, 2019
Loren was born April 30, 1955 in Newton, KS. A twin, to Loran Hall Sr and Joan Ann Hall Rankin.
He had been an EMT with the Derby Emergency Services, Derby, KS. A Volunteer fireman with Wilson County Rural Fire and was currently a Volunteer with the Buffalo Fire Department along with his son Josh Hall.
Loren was an avid fisherman and was looking forward to boating and fishing with his son Josh and nephew Jory Marteney with whom he shared a home. He was an awesome Dad, grandpa, great grandpa, uncle and friend. He was bigger than life and will be missed beyond measurer by so many
He married Kathy Pearce the shared daughter Misty Dawn Hall and they later divorce. He married Linda Ann Morris on June 2nd, 1979. They shared their son, Joshua Hall his daughter Misty Dawn Hall and her daughter Jolie Dian Morris Gerding. The marriage ended in 2001 after 22 years but they remained best friends.
Loren shared the next chapter of his life with Shirley Marck and became dad to her children and grandfather to her grandchildren as well as his own. Shirley proceeded him in death.
Loren became caregiver to his twin sister, Barbara Ann Marteney until her death. Her son moved in with Loren to Buffalo, KS. where his son lived and Jory and Josh help with care for Loren.
Loren was a kind, generous man to whom loyalty was a high priority. If he was a friend to your face, he was a friend to your back! He was very protective of family and those he loved. He knew God and had accepted Jesus as his savior.
He is survived by one brother Larry Hall of Newton, KS. his son Josh Hall of Altoona, KS. daughter Misty Hall of Wichita, KS. Jolie Gerding of Neodesha, KS. Casey King of Broken Arrow, OK. Jessica Hill of Wichita, KS. Brenton Marck of Wichita, KS. Nephew Jory Marteney of the home. Grandchildren Julia Hall of Altoona, Justin Wallace (Heather) of Bartlesville, OK Jalie Wallace of Neodesha, Austin Gerding of Neodesha, Jessica Gerding Vielleux (Daniel) of Hernando, FL. Colton and Chase King of Broken Arrow, OK. Payton and Daniel Hill of Wichita, KS. Elye Marck of Wichita, Hunter Hall of USAF, Lackland, TX. Kyrstien, Payton and Brianna Forkl of Tucson, AZ. And Brooke Lassiter of Wichita, KS. 6 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and best friend, Linda A Hall of Neodesha. He will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit and sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Twin sister, brother's Robert Steinle of Newton, Mike Hall and son- in-law Doug Gerding.
Memorial Service will be held May 4, 2019 at 1:00pm, with a dinner for the family at 12:00pm at the Verdigris Valley Christian Fellowship in Altoona, KS. with Pastor Jim Raymond officiating. On-Line condolences can be left to the family by going to www.loranfawcettfuneralhome.com
