LOIS ANN COLTRAIN Lois Ann Goodhue Coltrain, 75, of Clay Center, Kansas formerly of Neodesha, Kansaspassed away Thursday evening, March 02, 2006 in Lenexa, Kansas. Lois Ann was born November 01, 1930 in Ames, Iowa to Dr. Lyle D. and Helen Hamaker Goodhue. She moved to Neodesha in 1946, graduating from Neodesha High School in 1947. She attended Iowa State University. She married Wayne Coltrain on November 06, 1948 in Lawrence, Kansas. He preceded her in death on June 13, 2005. Lois Ann was a homemaker and a devoted farm wife. Lois Ann was a member of the Bethel Church of God where she also was the pianist for over 50 years. She loved to garden. Lois Ann is survived by one son, David Coltrain and his wife, Elaine of La Crosse, Kansas; three daughters, Karen Gutsch and her husband, Jim of Lenexa, Kansas, Amy Klayder and her husband, Paul of Olathe, Kansas, and Sally Chestnut and her husband, James of Clay Center, Kansas; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Charles Goodhue and his wife, Margaret of San Antonio, Texas and Jack Goodhue and his wife, Jane of Wilmington, North Carolina; and one sister, Lura Pierce and her husband, John of Eugene, Oregon. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Visitation hours will be on Monday, March 06, 2006 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel and on Tuesday, March 07, 2006 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Maple Grove Bethel Church of God. Funeral services for Lois Ann Coltrain will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 07, 2006 at the Maple Grove Bethel Church of God with the Reverend Les Griffith, Pastor of the First Church of God officiating. Burial will follow at the Shelley Bethel Cemetery, Neodesha, Kansas. The family has requested memorial contributions to the Maple Grove Bethel Church of God.
