Lester L. Seitz Lester Leroy Seitz, 84, of Wymore, Nebraska, formerly of Neodesha, Kansas, passed on Feb-ruary 8, 2008, at the Wymore Good Samaritan Home. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at 2 p.m. at the Neodesha Cemetery under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Lester was born June 24, 1923, in Fredonia, KS, to Harlan Otis and Catherine Amanda Boer-stler Seitz. He attended grade school at West Rainbow and Kelley School District 3 and graduated from Altoona High School in 1941. In 1947, he joined the US Navy and served until 1955. He worked as a Station Agent for Union Pacific Railroad for 32 years before retiring. On June 25, 1982, he was united in marriage to Lela M. Damron McDonald in Miami, OK. She survives in Wymore. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a step-daughter, Barbara Kujath and her husband Stanley of Wymore, NE; three step-sons, Roger McDonald of Neodesha, Jimmy McDonald and his wife, Lashelle and Lewis A. McDonald and his wife Janice, both of Larned, KS; two brothers, Wilber A Seitz of Fairbanks, AL, and John W. Seitz of St. Augustine, FL; one sister, Alice M. Shue of Oswego, KS; several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Everett Verne, Harold Otis, James Ken-neth, Junior, Edward Wayne and Ray William; two sisters, Edith E. and Ethel T.; one step-daughter, Virginia Gevara; one step-son John McDonald; and one step-daughter-in-law, Joyce McDonald. Memorial contributions may be made to VFW Post 5962.
