Karen Sue Murray, 72 of Neodesha, Kansas was welcomed in the arms of her Lord and Savior on Monday, February 20, 2023.
On June 29, 1950, Gene and Virginia Millis welcomed their daughter Karen Sue into this world. Karen grew up in Neodesha and attended the Neodesha school system. In 1967, Karen married Larry Murray in Fredonia, he preceded her in death in 1984. Karen filled several jobs throughout her life, retiring from ACC/ Standard Motors, but her favorite job was always mother and grandmother. She loved the time she spent with her family. The holidays were her favorite times, especially New Years and the Fourth of July. Karen made it a priority to be at all her family’s sporting events and school programs. During her free time, Karen loved to talk on the phone, take her mother Virginia cruising around the countryside, read her Bible, and tend to her flowers. Karen also had a soft spot for her dogs and her grand dogs, she considered them part of her family, pampering them every moment she could. Karen was always a fighter, enduring and conquering multiple health issues through her life. Karen will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Karen is preceded in death by her father, Gene Millis, husband, Larry Murray, sister, Deborah Hughes, and brother, Jerry Millis.
