James A. Morris James A. Morris, 68 of Neodesha, died Wednesday, August 25, 2004, at the Wilson County Hospital in Neodesha. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 27, 2004, in the Neodesha Cemetery under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 5-8 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.. Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society and may be left at the funeral home. The son of Glen and Elsie B. Smith Morris, he was born June 22, 1936, in Neodesha, KS. He received his education in Neodesha and graduated from Neodesha High School. He was formerly associated with the Independent Manufacturing Company IMCO and Little Bear Oil Company with his father. After becoming disabled, he had been a resident of Beverly Health and Rehab for the past 25 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Survivors include a step-brother, William Mayhood of Rogers, Arkansas, two step-sisters, Janice Paris of San Jose, California, and Joan Justice of Rogers, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-mother Vivian Morris, a brother, Rex E. Morris and two step-brothers, Charles and Raymond Mayhood. Condolences may be left at www.penwellgabel.com.
