James Hare Jr.

James Roy Hare, Jr. 72, of Neodesha, Kansas passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013 at the Wilson Medical Center in Neodesha, Kansas.

Cremation will take place under the direction of Loran Fawcett Chapel of Neodesha. No Services are planned at this time.

James was born on June 12, 1941 in Neodesha, Kansas to James Roy Hare, Sr. and Vergie Dannels Hare. He grew up in Neodesha and graduated from Neodesha High School.

He married Katherine Reed and they later divorced. On August 6, 1971 he married Dorothy Adams. James was employed by the Neodesha High School as a custodian for 23 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and eating.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of the home daughter, Angela Gentry and husband Kenneth of Lincoln, Arkansas sons, Terry Hare and wife Teresa of Dequeen, Arkansas, Lethan Hare of Tryon, Oklahoma sister, Shirley Huser and husband Bob of Neodesha, Kansas brothers, Melvin Hare of Neodesha, Kansas and Samuel Hare and wife Ruth of Onalaska, Texas grandchildren, Amanda Gentry of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, Shane Gentry of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Amber Ramirez of Dequeen, Arkansas, Michael Hare of Bridge Port, Texas eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews
