James E. Black, 59 of Neodesha passed away at his home in Neodesha on Friday, November 27, 2020. Visitation will be held at Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha on Friday, December 4th from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
James was born on July 14, 1961 in Neodesha, Kansas to Mildred and Leo Black. He grew up in Neodesha and graduated from Neodesha High School in 1980. He then joined the military. When he returned from the military he came back home to Neodesha and married Brenda Johnson in 1981. Together the had a daughter in 1983, Heather Dawn Black (Pooh). They later divorced in 1984. He then married Cheryal Richardson in 1985 and they had one daughter, Erica Elaine Black. They later divorced. He then met his companion of 24 years in 1997, Carolyn Sanders. They later had a daughter, Jamie Nichole Black in 2001.
James always enjoyed playing poker, horseshoes, and dominos. He loved hanging out with friends and family, jamming to loud music having a good time.
