Irma Lee Violett 86 of Neodesha, KS. passed away Monday July 29, 2019 at Morning Star Cares Home of Neodesha, KS.

Graveside services will be Saturday August 3, 2019 at 10:00am at Altoona Cemetery in Altoona, KS. under direction of Loran Fawcett Chapel of Neodesha, KS.

Irma Lee Violett was born March 13, 1933 in Altoona, KS. the daughter of John and Agnes (Clarkson) Woodruff, Irma attended school in Altoona and graduated from Altoona High School in 1952. Irma was united in marriage to Edward Violett on March 29, 1968 in Independence, KS. Edward preceded her in death January 27, 1996.

Irma lived in Neodesha 49 years and was a member of the Bible Baptist Church of Neodesha, KS. Irma lived in Altoona and Cherryvale for a while. Irma loved to garden and can the vegetables she grew, and she loved to collect toy trains and things she bought at sales. She also loved to cook and bake, Irma loved to spend time with her Nieces and Nephews and her loving family when she could.

Irma is survived one sister Mamie Erbe of Neodesha, KS. and one brother John Wesley Woodruff of Las Vegas, NV. And several Nephews and Nieces and Brother in-law Dale Russell of Neodesha, KS.

Irma is preceded in death by her husband Edward Violett and her parents and one brother Joe Henry Woodruff and 3 sisters Anna Luella Russell, Margie Smith and Mable Williams.
