Helen Curt Helen May Curt, 93, of Neodesha, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2006, at Beverly Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2006, at the United Methodist Church under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel. The Reverend Kris Brinlee will officiate. Interment will be in Neodesha Cemetery. The daughter of Charles LaDue and Mary Eva Richardson Ginest, she was born October 20, 1912, in Neodesha. She attended elementary schools in the area and graduated from Neodesha High School. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:45 p.m.-1:45 p.m. at the United Methodist Church. On May 27, 1933, she was united in marriage to Don Curt in Neodesha. Helen and Don spent 46 years together in Neodesha among their family and friends. He preceded her in death on March 14, 1979. Helen was a homemaker during the majority of her married life. She was an avid seamstress and enjoyed cooking. She was active in her childrens community activities, serving as PTA president and Brownie and Girl Scout leader. She was frequently caretaker for her parents and parents-in-law. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. Survivors include three children, Marilyn and James Vincent of Muncie, IN, Carol and Paul Enos of Lawrence, KS, and James and Sharon Gorrell Curt of Tulsa, OK; ten grandchildren, Curt Enos, Mischa Enos, Kevin Enos, Heather Enos, Jennifer Armstrong, Johnathan Curt, Kimberly Curt, Connie Williamson, Mark Vincent and Bill Vincent; and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Edward, Albert and Thomas; and one sister, Lenora Wrestler. Condolences may be expressed at www.penwellgabel.com.
