Hector Monroy

Hector James Monroy, age 38, of Neodesha, Kansas passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 3:20 p.m. A Celebration of life service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Christ Church with Pastor Joseph Dodson officiating. Visitation hours will be Tuesday, June 29 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Loran Fawcett Funeral Home.
Hector was born November 29, 1982, in Independence, Kansas to Jesse and Cindy Monroy. He grew up in Neodesha, Kansas and graduated Neodesha High School. Hector married Mara Monroy on July 2014. Hector is survived by his parents: Jesse and Cindy Monroy (Neodesha), his wife Mara Monroy (Neodesha), his siblings Travis (Mandy) Monroy (Sycamore), Jesse Monroy Jr. (Neodesha), Felisha Monroy (Neodesha), his children Mariah Monroy, 17 (Cherryvale), Trenton Monroy, 16 (Cherryvale), Bryson Monroy, 14 (Cherryvale), Gabriel Findley, 16 (Neodesha), Eliajah Findley, 14 (Neodesha), Matthias Monroy, 7 (Neodesha), Michael Monroy, 5 (Neodesha), and many nieces and nephews.
Hector was a dedicated father and husband, was a lead at Cobalt Boats, and he was a member of Christ Church. Hector loved his family fiercely and was a true prayer warrior. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all that knew him.
