Harold Schneider

Harold L. Schneider, age 82, of Wichita, Kansas died Saturday, January 11, 2014 at his home Wichita, Kansas.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the Neodesha Cemetery with Pastor Dave Cheshier of the Christ Church officiating under the direction of the Loran Fawcett Chapel.

Harold R. Schneider was born July 16, 1931 in Neodesha, Kansas to Gustav and Mildred Marie Hopkins Schneider. He grew up in Neodesha, Kansas and graduated from the Neodesha High School. Harold then entered the United States Navy until his honorable discharge.

On February 2, 1961 Harold married Bonnie Wright in Wichita, Kansas. Bonnie preceded him in death on August 30, 2011. Harold worked for Southwestern Bell ATT for 35 years in Wichita, Kansas retiring in 1986.

Survivors include one son William Bill Selby Jr. of Haysville, Kansas two grandsons Cody Selby of Derby, Kansas and Jason Selby of Stark, Florida Nieces Tracy Archibald and Shanon Curry of Wichita, Kansas and Cathy Allen Hodges of Kansas City, Kansas Nephews Charles, Clay, and Calvin Allen of Houston, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, wife Bonnie and son Douglas Selby.
