Hallie Green

Hallie Hazel Green, age 90, of Fredonia, Kansas died Friday, October 19, 2001 at her daughters home in rural Fredonia. Hallie was born February 3, 1911 in Neodesha, Kansas to Herbert E. and Lucinda Pettyjohn Dickens. Hallie grew up in Neodesha and graduated from the Neodesha High School. In 1947 Hallie moved to Fredonia and has lived there ever since. She worked as a coralator for the Kansas Bank Note in Fredonia, Kansas for 27 years until her retirement in 1974. She was a member of the Fredonia First Christian Church Survivors include one daughter Vicki Kay and her husband Norman Ray Eisele of Fredonia, Kansas; one grandson George Sterling Eisele and wife Julie of Independence, Kansas; and two grandchildren Graveside services for Hallie Green are to be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2001 at the Neodesha City Cemetery. Reverend Steve Brodbeck of the First Christian Church, Fredonia, Kansas will officiate. The family has suggested a memorial to the Fredonia First Christian Church.
