H. MARIE ROBINSON HASE H. Marie Hase, age 89, of Neodesha, Kansas died Monday, April 19, 2004 in Neodesha, Kansas. Marie was born December 26, 1914 in Strass, Kansas to George Wesley and Bessie Bushnell Robinson. Marie attended the Oswego, Kansas School System and joined the Holliness Church at the age of 13. On August 14, 1932 Marie married George Hase in Batesville, Kansas. George preceded her in death October 12, 1973. To George and Marie five children were born Dwayne, Anna, Georgia, Pam and Barbara, Barbara and Dwayne preceded her in death. Marie was an active member of the Eagles Womens Auxillary for 25 years, and was news editor 10 years for the Eagles Auxillary. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Womens Auxillary. She was baptized in the Bible Baptist Church in 1983. George and Marie ran Maries Place for a number of years in Neodesha, Kansas. She was know as mom to lots of kids, she loved people, nature and wrote poetry. She was an avid letter to the editor writer in the Neodesha Derrick. Survivors include three daughters Anna Lutke of Neodesha, Kansas; Georgia M. Bischoff of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Pamela J. Hase - Busby of Wichita, Kansas. 13 Grandchildren, 28 Great Grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 21, 2004 at the Neodesha Cemetery with Dave Cheshier officiating under the direction of the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home. Visitation hours will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 20, 2004 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home. The family has suggested memorials to the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or the Make a Wish Foundation and contributions may be left at the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home.
