GARLAND G. TINCKNELL Garland G. Tincknell, 89, of Neodesha, Kansas passed away Wednesday evening, September 13, 2006 at the Golden Keys Home where he was a resident. Garland was born October 29, 1916 in rural Neodesha, Kansas to Ira G. and Ethel B. Taylor Tincknell. He married Violett Klingenberg on September 2, 1960. He worked for many years in aircraft assembly for Boeing Aircraft in Wichita. He later worked as custodian for Neodesha High School, Cobalt Boats, and United Methodist Church of Neodesha. Survivors include his wife, Violett of Neodesha, Kansas; one brother, Forrest Tincknell of Neodesha, Kansas; four stepchildren, Sharon Davis of Austin, Texas, Richard Klingenberg of Neodesha, Kansas, Jon R. Klingenberg of Butler, Illinois, and Gary Klingenberg of League City, Texas. Also surviving are several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Garland was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Ernest, and his daughter Cecilia. Graveside services will be Monday, September 18, 2006, at 11 a.m. in Neodesha Cemetery, with Pastor Jim Logan of Grace Baptist Church officiating. Friends may call at the Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Funeral Home, Neodesha, on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association.
