Frances "Nana" Dorner (Boring) of Neodesha, KS, went on home Saturday, June 2, 2018.
Born February 27, 1943 in Neodesha, KS to Opal (Crisp) and Charles Boring. Growing up, Frances had four older brothers; Edward, Herbert, Richard and Charles Boring. She graduated from Neodesha High School in 1961 and went on to obtain her CNA.
Frances was an avid Sonic and Braum's customer, dedicated CNA and loved all animals especially her dog, PeeWee. She loved her family unconditionally and was exceptionally proud of her brothers, nephew and other friends and family who served her country.
She was preceded in death by her four brothers, parents, husband Warren Dorner, beloved companion PeeWee, and grandson Nicholas Littau.
Surviving are Frances' two daughters, Kimberly (Chipman) Powell and husband, Ed of Wichita, KS, and Kristine (Dorner) Cain and husband, Jeff of Neodesha, KS. Sister Kathy Mills and husband Ronnie of Elk City, KS. Nephew Ed Boring and wife Twilla of Cherryvale, KS. Grandchildren, Lakin (Littau) Huckabey and husband Forrest, Danielle (Littau) Martin and husband Kyle, Chayce Littau, Trista Cain, Durrell Speed, Leslie Cecil, Joshua Powell, Toney Powell and Steven Powell. Fourteen great-grandchildren and several great-granddogs.
A celebration of Frances' life will be held at Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha, KS on Tuesday, June 5th at 2:00 PM. A memorial contribution may be left in Frances' to the Alzheimer's Association. To leave the family a special message of condolence, please visit www.loranfawcettfuneralhome.com.
