Faye Robertson

Faye Reece Robertson, 69, Thayer, Kansas passed away at The University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas on Sunday January 8, 2012. Friends may sign the book on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 from 12:00 Noon until 7:30 p.m., the family will greet friends from 67:30 p.m. at the PenwellGabel Loran Fawcett Chapel. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, at Thayer Cemetery with Reverend Jim Pelley officiating. Faye was born August 5, 1942 in Thayer, Kansas to Irving C. Jack and Della L. Baker Reece. Faye graduated Thayer High School in 1960, Chanute Community College in 1962, and Pittsburg State University in 1964. And taught School in Altoona and Neodesha, Kansas for 23 years. Faye was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Joyce Reece. Faye married James W. Robertson on December 23, 1966 and he survives along with three sons and there spouses Jamie Paula Robertson, Thayer, KS Brent Terri Robertson, Thayer, KS Mark Mendy Robertson, Galesburg, KS 11 grandchildren, three sisters, Dolores Young, Tulsa, OK Betty Huffman, Altamont, KS Donna McMillen, Chanute, KS two brothers Dale Reece, St. Charles, MO and Merle Reece, Overland Park, KS in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Thayer Christian Church Preschool and may be left with the Funeral Home.
