EILEEN BELLE LANCE Eileen Belle Lance, age 75, of Neodesha, Kansas died Saturday, February 14, 2004 at the Wilson County Hospital in Neodesha, Kansas. Eileen was born September 5, 1928 in Neodesha, Kansas to John Mary E. Steele Nalley. She grew up in Neodesha, Kansas and graduated from the Neodesha High School in 1948. On June 28, 1948 Eileen married Arthur Lance in Neodesha, Kansas where they made their home. They were later
orced. Eileen lived in Alvin, Texas for five years before returning to Neodesha, Kansas in 1979. Eileen was a homemaker and a member of the Countryside Christian Church and the VFW Womens Auxillary Post 5962. Survivors include two daughters Peggy Krampota and husband Jerry of Alvin, Texas and Deborah Lance and husband Al-Bassam of Sugarland, Texas and daughter-in-law Kim Lance of League City, Texas; seven grandchildren Nathan, Jennifer and Jeremy Krampota, Stacie Kristen Lance; and Amber and Heather Forsythe, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son and one brother. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at the Countryside Christian Church with Rev. Brian Rothgeb officiating. Burial will follow in the Neodesha Cemetery under the direction of the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home. Visitation hours will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2004 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home. The family has suggested memorials to the Countryside Christian Church and contributions may be left at the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home.
