DR. HERBERT A. TRACY Herbert A. Tracy, 90, of Topeka, Kansas formerly of Belton, Missouri and Neodesha, Kansas passed away at the V.A. Hospital in Topeka, Kansas, Sunday, March 07, 2004. Herbert was born, May 14, 1913 in Junction City, Kansas to Xenpho and Margaret McKinney-Tracy. His family came to Neodesha where he attended schools and graduated from Neodesha High School. He attended and graduated from both Kansas University and Kansas University Medical School. Following Medical School, he entered the U.S. Army Medical Corp during WWII. He remained in the Medical Corp for 18 years and following his retirement from the Medical Corp, he practiced medicine in Belton, Missouri and later in California. Following his retirement in California, he returned to Belton. In 1934, Herbert married Louise Bradfield and she preceded him in death. Herbert is survived by one son, Dr. Terry A. Tracy of Topeka, Kansas and five grandchildren. Graveside services for Dr. Herbert A. Tracy will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at the Neodesha City Cemetery, Neodesha, Kansas under the direction of the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home, Neodesha, Kansas.
