DESIREE LYNN LATHAM Desiree Lynn Latham, age 8, of Neodesha, Kansas died Friday, July 16, 2004 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. Desiree was born February 1, 1996 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Christopher Chris and Tammy Latham. Desiree grew up in Neodesha, Kansas and attended school at Heller Elementary.She loved to go skating and swimming and especially shopping. Survivors include her mother Tammy Dewitt Latham and step father Chris Collins of Neodesha, Kansas, Father Chistoper Chris Latham of Alabama, two brothers Calvin Latham and Ian Collins of Neodesha, Kansas; Maternal Grandparents Teddy and Priscilla Dewitt of Neodesha, Kansas, Paternal Grandparents Gina Fred Love of Grove, Oklahoma and Larry and Connie Latham Jonesboro, Arkansas; Aunt Kim Ward of Neodesha, Kansas; Aunt and Uncle Robert and Denece Ward of Carthage, Missouri, Terry Jamie Dewitt of Neodesha, Kansas and uncle Charles Latham of Memphis, Tennessee and three cousins Marcie, Carley, and Zackery Ward of Carthage, Missouri. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at the Christ Church with Dave Cheshier officiating. Burial will follow in the Neodesha Cemetery under the direction of the Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel. Visitation hours will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 19, 2004 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel. The family has suggested memorials to the Heller Elementary School and contributions may be left at the Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha, Kansas.
