DEBORAH R. KREGE Deborah Rene Shoop Krege of rural Neodesha, Kansas, died Sunday, June 19, 2005, at her former residence in rural Neodesha. She was 41. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2005, at the United Methodist Church under the direction of Penwell Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel. A private inurnment will take place at a later date. Friends may call to express their condolences at the funeral home Wednesday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the United Methodist Church. The daughter of Cecil William Bud and Barbara Jean Beaty Shoop, she was born July 18, 1963, in Neodesha. She attended Neodesha schools, graduating from Neodesha High School in 1981. Debbie was a lifelong resident of Neodesha and had been employed as a custodian by USD 461 for the past 13 years. She had also recently been employed as custodian at the W.A. Rankin Memorial Library. On November 28, 1981, she was united in marriage to David Krege in Neodesha. She is survived by two sons, Nathian Krege and Arron Krege, both of the home; one daughter, Ashley Krege of the home; her parents of Neodesha; one brother, Bud Shoop of Neodesha; and two sisters, Linda King of Independence, KS, and Lisa Ashworth of Neodesha. A memorial fund has been established for her children at the Community National Bank and may also be left at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed at www.penwellgabel.com.
