David A. Garber David Arthur Garber of Neodesha, KS, died Sunday, April 13, 2008, at the Wilson Medical Center Reece Campus. He was 74 Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at Neodesha Cemetery under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel. Reverend Charles Rice will officiate. Interment will be in Neodesha Cemetery. The casket has been closed. Friends may call to register on Tuesday from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. The son of Leslie Vivian and Pearl Marie Tucker Garber, he was born May 3, 1933 in Neodesha, KS. He was raised in Neodesha where he received his education. Mr. Garber served the City of Neodesha as a police officer and later Wilson County as a deputy sheriff. He retired in 1984. Survivors include a son, Carey of Harrison, MI; one daughter, Carla Wasson of Thayer, KS; one brother, Fred of Olathe, KS; one sister, Vivian Garber of Neodesha; three grandchildren, Joshua, Timothy and Samuel Wasson; and two great-grandchildren, Jacey and Jonathon Wasson.
