Daryl R. Lewis Daryl Ray Lewis of rural Fredonia, KS, died Saturday, April 14, 2007, the year of our Lord as the result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident east of Neodesha. He was 40. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at Christ Church in Neodesha. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-7 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Funeral Home. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery. The son of Arthur Kirk and Gloria Rae Duke Lewis, he was born June 29, 1966, in Independence, KS. He was a lifelong resident of Neodesha where he received his education. He later graduated from Cowley County Technical School as a certified welder. Mr. Lewis had been employed at Neodesha Plastics for the past several years as a machine operator. He was united in marriage to Lenora Ostrander in Arkansas City, KS. They were later
orced. Survivors include his parents, Kirk and Gloria Lewis of Neodesha; four children, Hannah, Rachel, Rebecca and Dianne Lewis; a brother, David of Sedan, KS; a sister, Susan Apollo of Neodesha; and his paternal grandmother, Hazel Lewis of Independence, KS. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Chester A. Lewis and his maternal grandparents, Melvin and Ruth Duke.
