Clifford Dickens

Clifford Dean Dickens, 73, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013 at his home in Neodesha, Kansas.

Funeral services will be held, Thursday, June 6th, 2013 at 10:00 am at the Loran Fawcett Chapel. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 5th from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, the family will received friends from 4 to 6 pm.

Dean was born June 26, 1939 in Thayer, Kansas to Clifford E and Ruth Chrisman Dickens. He grew up on a farm outside of Neodesha, Kansas. Dean graduated from Neodesha High School in 1957. He worked for International Union of Operating Engineers from May 31, 1967 to February 1, 2001. He had a love for Buick Riveras, Griswold Cast Iron Cookware and loved to talk politics.

He is survived by a daughter, Deana Coxworth of sierra Vista, AZ one brother, Merle Dickens of Houston, TX one sister, Shirley Shork of Pittsburg, KS two grandchildren, Tyler Leci Coxworth. He was preceded in death by his parents.
