Clarence Catron

Clarence Maynard Catron, age 70, of Topeka, Kansas formerly of Alma and Wichita, Kansas died February 16, 2013 at the VA Hospital in Topeka, Kansas.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m.,
Monday, February 25, 2013 at the Grandview Cemetery in Neodesha, Kansas with the Pastor Dave Cheshier officiating under the direction of the Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha, Kansas.

Friends may sign the register book from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Thursday, February 21, 2013 at the Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha, Kansas.

The family has suggested memorials to the Wounded Warriors and contributions may be left at the Loran Fawcett Chapel.

C. Maynard was born February 10, 1943 in Neodesha, Kansas to Charles Clarence and Anna Laurel Dickenson Catron. He graduated from the Neodesha High School in 1961 and attended Independence Community College before enlisting in the United States Army in 1964. He was honorable discharged in April of 1965 as a PFC.

After his discharge Maynard lived in Wichita, Kansas, then Alma, Kansas and then moved to Topeka, Kansas five years ago.

Survivors include a brother Dennis and wife Constant of Elk City, Kansas several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 half sisters and 2 half brothers.
