Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at the Thayer Christian Church with the Pastor David Camp officiating under the direction of the Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha, Kansas.
The family has suggested memorials to a Trust Fund for her children that is set up at the Community National Bank in Independence, Kansas and contributions may be left at the Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha, Kansas.
Christy Kay Wiles Thomas was born April 20, 1976 in Neodesha, Kansas the daughter of Gary Alan Wiles and Sandra Kay Smedley Wiles. Christy grew up in the Chanute area and graduated from the Chanute High School in 1994. She worked at various fast food restaurants.
Survivors include one son Zabadiah Campbell of Independence, Kansas a daughter Torie Thomas of Cherokee, Kansas mother and step father Sandra and Russell Barker of Independence, Kansas father Gary Wiles of Chanute, Kansas maternal grandparents George and Leona Smedley of Thayer, Kansas paternal grandparents Robert and Verna Layton of Chanute, Kansas.
