Cecile Willard

CECILE LEE WILLARD Cecile L. Willard, age 91, of Coffeyville, Kansas, formerly of Neodesha, Kansas died August 1, 2002, at the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center, in Coffeyville, Kansas. Cecile was born April 11, 1911 in Rome, Georgia to Elic and Mamie Nation Ramey. She grew up in Neodesha, Kansas and attended the Neodesha School Systems. On August 15, 1928 Cecile married Howard V. Willard in Neodesha, Kansas where they made their home. Cecile has lived in Coffeyville, Kansas the last 20 years. Howard preceded her in death on November 8, 1974. She was a homemaker. Survivors include two daughters Joyce and husband Jim Blankenship of Borger, Texas and Joan and husband David Katzer of Paris, Tennessee. 18 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, four children, Virgil, J.R., Bobby, and Jimmy and six brothers. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 6, 2002 at the Bethel Cemetery in Neodesha, Kansas under the direction of the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home. Visitation hours will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, August 4, 2002 and from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 5, 2002 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home.
