Carolyn Sue Suits age 83, Independence, Kansas, formerly of Neodesha, Kansas died Wednesday July 13, 2022, surrounded by her family. Visitation will be at Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha, Kansas on Tuesday July 19, 2022, at 1:00PMwith the memorial service to follow at 2:00PM with Pastor Joseph Dodson officiating, Burial will follow at the Neodesha Cemetery.
Carolyn was born August 7, 1938, in Harrisburg, Illinois to Andrew and Katherine (Walters) Wilkins. She attended school in Harrisburg Ill, and later received her GED. In 1957 Carolyn married Lee Dale Suits. They had 2 children; Cathy and Dale, they made their home in Neodesha, Lee Dale passed in 1984
Carolyn later moved to Independence, Kansas where she work as a housekeeper and retired from Glenwood Estates after 20 years of service. Carolyn was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and Fraternal order of the Eagles Auxiliary 3448.
Survivors include her son Dale “ Bub “ Lee Suits of Bristow, Oklahoma; sister Connie Sims of Harrisburg Illinois; brother Robert C Walters of McCallen, Texas, granddaughters Jennifer Lynn Ramey of Independence, Kansas, Shy Ann Lowry of Grove, Oklahoma, Amber Lea Myers of Independence, Kansas, Tia Daleen Porter (Chris) of Neodesha, Kansas; grandson Anthony LeeDale Hann of Winfield, Kansas; great-grandson Trenten Mikel Aemisegger of Neodesha, Kansas, Chance LeeDale Suits of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Jerry Dean Lowry III of Neodesha, Kansas, Quinlan Theron Christian Boles of Neodesha, Kansas, Bodhi Jensen-Brandt Lowry of Independence, Kansas; great granddaughters Teyler Maria Bell Aemisegger of Dallas, Texas, Haiden Lynn Lowry of Grove Oklahoma, Sophie Rae Ann Boles of Neodesha, Kansas, Miley Matey Myers of Harper, Kansas, Rilynn Rae Hann of Winfield, Kansas.
Carolyn is preceded in death parents Andrew and Katherine Wilkins; Husband Lee Dale and daughter Cathy Daleen Laforte and sister Brenda Mitchell. Memorials can be made in Carolyn’s memory to the VFW Ladies Auxiliary of Independence, KS. and the Fraternal order of the Eagles Auxiliary 3448 of Neodesha, KS.
